Description
- Activates In-game existing but disabled (probably bugs in some situation or not ready yet or something like that, but I didn't noticed any problem) feature to be able to customize zoning settings.
Just select a zoning tool, then instead of choosing Square / free / single, right-click on the icon of your choice... A "magic" settings panel will appear.

Notes
- This mod will stay for solo-game only. If MC wants to allow it in PO, they will just enable that feature in the game, since it's something already existing. If it's not, they have a reason and probably don't want to see it in PO.
- I tried to tweak it to add possibility to specify both inner roads and outer roads for Square Zones, it don't seem to be possible. If I find a workaround for this, I will include it, since I prefer having my inner roads more tiny than outer ones for my personnal gameplay preferences.

I'm not too much of a zoner, infact, I don't zone at all. Though, I've always wanted the square block zoning to have more options as to how many houses in a row, so that should be somewhat useful at some points of time in my city building. It will be interesting to see what MC says about this and what more they could do with the zoning (there was the long ago announced Mass Placement Tool).

Huh? The "mass-placement tool" is not the "zoning tool" ?

Anyway, what they can do about zoning is basically this mod... I just enabled existing stuff there...

btw by seing the datas, I also discovered an apparently a work-in-progress zoning option... MC seems to be planning to add "Linear" zoning... unlike square zone, linear zoning will need only 2 clicks and will put bats blocs on both side of the  "clicked road". Looks promising, but I will not unlock this one, when it'll be ready to use, i'm sure MC will let us know. It will be an additionnal "Zoning-mode", so that'll make a total of 4 once this is done.

There are lots of unlocked, but functionable things. For example roundabouts, a baseball stadium, traffic-sign-posts, the titanic and lots more. I don't understand, why MC isn't releasing this things. And no, they haven't a good reason for this...they are all working if you unlock it.

I know there are tons of locked stuff, but I also know that there almost always is a good reason for this... roundabouts have yet several traffic issue and are clearly buggy yet... Btw they are not really "locked", but this doesn't matter. If things are disabled, there IS a reason behind it... can be "Unfinished", "untested", "buggy in some situations (i.e. combined with something else)", or whatever...

I could even explain you why there is no "1way expressways" in the vanilla game.

Lol, we have allready also made an 1way expressway...what a coincidence. Not allways is there are reason. So we have tested out some locked blueprints ore landamrks and all works fine. Also there are lots of traffic-sign-posts and I don't know, why they don't integrated to the game. They are all working (also when it's only "little" stuff, they can integrate them)

Then please explain me why a completely finished blueprint(the Sydney Opera) isn't included in the game.

The simplest answer is that they are stringing content out to so that they can have a constant flow of content.  Rather than to shoot everything out at once and have nothing to give out for long periods.

I'd explain it the same way as reese... pure content such blueprints are distributed at a short flow rate... 1 or 2 with each content pack, no big deal with that Smiley

The website has changed provider yesterday. It seems that it has not (or not yet) imported old files.

I'll wait to have more infos about that from andre to know if I need to reupload or if it's gonna be imported...
During the wait, you can use the "french" link, the mod is the same and won't affect it's language.
